Ressources, in its French use, denotes sources of supply that can be drawn upon to meet needs, create value, or sustain activity. The concept is wide and context-dependent, covering tangible stocks as well as intangible capacities.

The main categories of ressources include natural resources, human ressources, and capital or produced ressources.
