Resourcerich is an adjective used to describe a person, place, organization, or system that possesses a large supply of resources. Resources can be natural (such as oil, minerals, water, or arable land), human (labor, expertise, skills), financial (capital, credit), or informational (data, knowledge). The term is common in geography, economics, and development studies and is often used descriptively to convey abundance rather than the effective use or management of those resources.

In geographic and economic contexts, a resourcerich region may rely heavily on primary sectors like extraction or agriculture. While abundance can support rapid growth during commodity booms, it can also lead to economic volatility and governance challenges if revenues are poorly managed or not diversified. The concept is closely associated with the resource curse, a term describing how resource wealth can coincide with weaker institutions, corruption, or slower overall development when not properly governed.
