Relationscircumference is not a standard term in mathematics. When it appears, it is typically used informally to denote the set of relationships that connect a circle’s circumference with other quantities such as radius, diameter, or area.

In hyperbolic geometry, the circumference for a circle of radius r is C = 2πR sinh(r/R). These expressions illustrate that C and r are no longer proportional in curved spaces.
