Rasterizálódnak is a Hungarian term that translates to "rasterize" in English, a fundamental process in computer graphics. It refers to the conversion of vector graphics or 3D models into a raster image, which is a grid of pixels. In essence, rasterization determines which pixels on a display screen should be colored and how, based on the geometric primitives (like lines, triangles, or polygons) that define the image.

This process is crucial for rendering images on digital displays. When a computer displays a vector graphic, it doesn't store it as a series of mathematical descriptions. Instead, the graphics processing unit (GPU) rasterizes it, breaking it down into individual pixels. Similarly, 3D models, which are composed of vertices and polygons, are rasterized to create the 2D images we see on screen.
