Accessibility and inclusivity are standard considerations, including contrast, alt text, and semantic structure for assistive technologies. Iterative testing with target readers is common.

Outcomes of good rapportdesign include faster production, consistent formatting across documents, and improved comprehension of complex information. It is guided by general information-design principles and, where applicable, institutional or publisher style guides (for example APA, ISO data-visualization standards, or corporate brand guidelines).
