Provoenju is a fictional constructed language used in speculative fiction and among language-creation communities. It is described as regular, easy to learn for speakers of many languages, and designed to express complex arguments succinctly.

In the in-world history, Provoenju emerged as a scholarly lingua franca in a fictional realm called Aldara, later adopted by storytellers and role-playing groups.

Phonology and script: The sound system includes five vowels /a e i o u/ and a consonant inventory of around 15 phonemes, with no consonant clusters and predictable stress on the penultimate syllable. It uses a Latin-based alphabet with diacritics to mark vowel quality and stress.

Grammar: It is agglutinative; nouns inflect for case—nominative, accusative, dative—via suffixes; number is marked on nouns; verbs indicate tense and aspect with suffixes and allow mood markers; basic word order is SVO, with adjectives following nouns; pronouns include inclusive and exclusive we.

Varieties and reception: Several dialects exist in fan communities; the language has defined learning resources and sample texts used in tutorials and fan fiction. Its design prioritizes legibility and musicality.
