prokreacj

Prokreacja, or procreation, is the biological and social process by which living beings generate offspring. Biologically, it includes the life cycle of reproduction: gamete formation, fertilization, embryonic development, birth, and parental care. In humans, procreation most commonly occurs through sexual reproduction, in which a male gamete (sperm) fertilizes a female gamete (egg). Assisted reproductive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and donor gametes, enable conception in cases of infertility or when partners cannot contribute genetically through natural sex. Some jurisdictions regulate these technologies differently, reflecting ethical and legal norms.

From a social perspective, procreation is tied to family formation, childrearing, and demographic trends. Reproductive health

Ethical and legal dimensions address autonomy in reproductive decisions, the status of embryos, access to fertility

In many species, procreation also occurs through asexual or vegetative means, but in humans and most animals,
