prediktief
Prediktief is an adjective in the Dutch language that denotes relation to predicting or forecasting. It is used mainly in technical contexts to describe models, analyses, or strategies designed to forecast future events or outcomes. The spelling prediktief is less common than predictief, and some sources treat it as an historical or regional variant stemming from earlier Dutch orthography or from direct adoption from English predictive. In modern Dutch, the preferred form in most contexts is predictief; prediktief may appear in older texts or in bilingual Dutch-English material.
