Povabilo is a noun in the Slovene language meaning an invitation to attend an event, participate in an activity, or join a program. It can be delivered verbally or in writing, with written povabila common for formal occasions such as ceremonies, conferences, and official meetings.

The word derives from the verb povabiti "to invite" and the suffix -ilo. In everyday use, povabilo is often more formal or official than the synonym vabilo, and it is frequently employed in organizational or administrative contexts.
