PostFATA refers to the period following the constitutional and administrative merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) into the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in Pakistan in 2018. Historically, FATA consisted of seven tribal agencies and six frontier regions, governed by the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) and exempt from many provisions of the Pakistani constitution and provincial laws.
