Administered

Administered is the past tense and past participle of the verb administer. It can describe something that has been managed, distributed, or carried out by an authority or person. As a participle, it often functions as an adjective, as in administered doses or administered programs. The term derives from Latin administrare, from ad- “to” and ministrare “to serve or manage.” The related noun administration refers to the act, process, or system of managing or supervising.

In medicine, to administer a drug means to give it to a patient, including the dose and route of delivery (for example, oral or intravenous). In government and law, to administer a state, program, or procedure means to oversee its operations or enforcement.
