Podminek is a term that appears in Slavic-language contexts as a transliterated form related to the notion of a condition or prerequisite. In standard Czech, the related word is podmínka, and in Slovak it is podmienka; both denote a condition, prerequisite, or stipulation that must be satisfied for something to occur.
