pluskvamperfektia
Pluskvamperfektia, or pluperfect, is a past tense in Finnish that marks an action that had already been completed before another past event. It is formed using the imperfect of the auxiliary olla ( olin, olit, oli, olimme, olitte, olivat ) plus the past participle of the main verb (for example syönyt, tehnyt, kirjoittanut). Example: Olin syönyt, kun hän soitti.
