Pilotaj is a plural Esperanto adjective meaning “pilot-related,” “of pilots,” or “pertaining to piloting.” It describes nouns that have a connection to pilots or to the act of piloting. In Esperanto, adjectives agree with the noun in number, so the singular form is pilota and the plural form is pilotaj.

Etymology and grammar: pilotaj is formed from the adjective pilota, which itself derives from the noun piloto (pilot) with the standard -a adjective suffix.
