Peapööritamise, a phenomenon also known as vertigo, is a sensation of unsteadiness or a feeling that the surrounding environment is spinning or moving. This subjective experience can range from mild dizziness to severe disorientation. The sensation often arises from a disruption in the vestibular system, the part of the inner ear and brain that controls balance and spatial orientation. Common causes of peapööritamise include inner ear problems such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), Meniere's disease, and vestibular neuritis.
Other contributing factors can include neurological conditions like migraines or stroke, certain medications, head injuries, or
