Pavouci is a term that refers to spiders in the Czech and Slovak languages. These arachnids belong to the order Araneae, characterized by their eight legs, two body segments (cephalothorax and abdomen), and the production of silk. Spiders are found in diverse habitats worldwide, from dense forests and grasslands to deserts and even aquatic environments.
