Partiisiooniks is the Estonian translative form of a word meaning the act or result of partitioning—dividing a whole into distinct parts or subsets for a specific purpose. The term is used across disciplines to describe deliberate segmentation of an entity into smaller, non-overlapping units that together comprise the original.
