Parfumeita is the Finnish plural form of parfumi and refers to perfumes, fragrances used for personal scent. They are complex blends of aromatic compounds, usually dissolved in an alcohol base, and sometimes with water or fixed oils.

They are marketed in several concentration levels: extrait/parfum (highly concentrated), eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne, with varying lasting power and price. Scents are often grouped into families such as floral, oriental, woody, and fresh.

Fragrance design uses a layered structure of notes: top notes provide initial impression, followed by heart (middle) notes, and base notes that linger for hours.
