Panorámákat, often referred to as panoramas, are wide, unbroken views of a large area. The term originates from the Greek words "pan" meaning "all" and "horama" meaning "sight." Historically, panoramas were often large paintings, meticulously crafted to depict landscapes, battles, or historical events on a cylindrical or curved surface, creating an immersive experience for viewers who would walk around them.

In modern usage, panorámákat most commonly refer to digital photographs that capture a much wider field of vision than a standard photograph. This is achieved through various techniques, including stitching together multiple images or using specialized wide-angle lenses or panoramic cameras.
