Over/under, also known as totals, is a type of sports wager where a bookmaker sets a total number of points, goals, or runs expected to be scored in a game. Bettors decide whether the actual combined score will exceed the stated total (over) or be less than it (under). If the game ends with a score that matches the total exactly, the bet is often a push and the stake is returned, particularly when the line is a whole number.
