Noncorrugated refers to materials or surfaces that do not possess corrugations. Corrugations are a series of alternating raised and recessed ridges or grooves. Therefore, noncorrugated surfaces are smooth, flat, or otherwise lacking these characteristic wave-like patterns.

Examples of noncorrugated materials include many types of paper, such as standard printer paper, book pages, or smooth cardstock. Metal sheets used in construction or manufacturing that have not undergone a process to create ridges are also noncorrugated. Similarly, glass, solid wood planks, and many plastics are typically noncorrugated unless specifically manufactured with that texture.

The term is often used in contrast to corrugated materials. For instance, corrugated cardboard is a common packaging material characterized by its ridged inner layer, which provides cushioning and strength. Noncorrugated cardboard would be a flat, smooth sheet without this internal structure. In manufacturing, a noncorrugated metal sheet would be a plain, flat piece of metal, whereas a corrugated one would have raised and lowered sections.
