Ngsin, also known as "ningsin" or "nasing," is a traditional Filipino practice involving the ritualistic offering or sacrifice of animals, such as chickens, pigs, or carabaos, to appease or seek favor from spirits, ancestors, or deities. This ritual is deeply rooted in indigenous Filipino belief systems and is often performed during significant events like harvest festivals, village celebrations, or for blessings and protection.

The practice of ngisin varies among different ethnic groups and regions in the Philippines, with specific customs and ceremonies reflecting local cultural identities.
