Nattverd, or nattverden, is the Norwegian term for the sacrament of the Eucharist, commonly known in English as Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. It is a central rite in many Christian traditions and is traditionally celebrated to remember Jesus Christ’s Last Supper with his disciples.
