mësimi

Mësimi is a noun in Albanian that denotes both the act of teaching and learning and the content delivered in a class. It is commonly translated as "lesson" or "instruction" and can refer to a single instructional unit as well as to the process of education.

The word derives from the verb mësu, related to the forms mësues (teacher) and nxënës (student). In Albanian, mësimi is used across dialects to describe classroom-based instruction as well as the broader practice of learning.

In formal education, mësimi is organized within a curriculum (programë mësimore) and delivered by teachers in schools.
