In standard modern Hungarian, mutatóin is not a common or productive inflection; it is sometimes described in linguistic discussions as a dialectal or historical variant of locative marking. Because Hungarian locative endings for in/on places are typically -ban/-ben or -on/-en/-ön (with plural forms changing accordingly), mutatóin stands out as an atypical or archaic development rather than a everyday usage.
