Multitouchu is a term used in the field of human-computer interaction to describe a family of multi-touch interaction paradigms that enable multiple simultaneous contact points on touch-sensitive surfaces. It emphasizes not only multiple fingers but also the coordination of hands from different users and devices, allowing cooperatively manipulated interfaces.

Technically, multitouchu combines hardware-level sensing with software-level gesture recognition. Touch input is captured by capacitive or optical sensors; data is fused across time to resolve multiple touch points, identify gestures, and differentiate users.
