Monenväliset is a Finnish term used to describe processes, negotiations, and agreements that involve more than two parties. In international relations, it is commonly applied to multilateral contexts such as treaties, organizations, or diplomacy where several states or actors participate, rather than bilateral arrangements between two parties.

Linguistically, monenväliset is formed from the prefix for many (monen) and the word for between or connecting (välinen). In usage, it functions as an adjective modifying nouns like sopimus (treaty), suhteet (relations), or neuvottelut (negotiations). The term is frequently found in governmental and academic texts alongside the more widely used English term multilateral.

Usage and scope often encompass international bodies, global agreements, and regional frameworks that require consensus among multiple participants. Examples include multilateral environmental agreements, security coalitions, and trade arrangements negotiated within organizations such as the United Nations or the World Trade Organization framework. Monenväliset processes are typically praised for inclusivity and broad legitimacy but criticized for slower decision-making and the complexity of achieving consensus among many stakeholders.

Distinctions are sometimes drawn between monenväliset arrangements and plurilaterals, which involve many participants but not necessarily all parties to a given framework.
