Moderat is a German electronic music project formed in Berlin in 2002 by Apparat (Sascha Ring) and Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary). The collaboration blends Apparat’s melodic, cinematic approach with Modeselektor’s bass-driven, rhythmic production, producing a sound that combines atmospheric textures with punchy beats and emotive vocal lines.
