A microgranule is a small granule designed to be a discrete, free-flowing particle used in a range of industrial applications. The term is used across pharmaceutical, agricultural, cosmetic, and materials contexts to describe granules with controlled size and composition characteristics that support uniform dispersion and predictable performance.

Size and composition: Microgranules are typically in the sub-millimeter to a few millimeters range in diameter, with many formulations targeting roughly 0.1–2 mm.
