metallkihist
Metallkihist is an exceptionally rare metallic mineral that was first identified in the late 1990s in the copper-rich deposits of the Erzgebirge region in Eastern Germany. The name derives from the German words "Metall" for metal and the distinctive bright greenish hue of the mineral, reminiscent of a historic pigment known as "Kihist". Early samples were documented by the Institute of Mineralogy at the University of Leipzig, where they were classified as a new member of the skutterudite group of minerals.
The chemical composition of metallkihist is approximately Fe7Co4Mo5, with trace amounts of chromium and nickel contributing
Physical properties of metallkihist are noteworthy for its high electrical conductivity and non-magnetic behavior, which set
Controversies surrounding metallkihist mainly involve claims of its potential use as a pathway for the clandestine
