MeshWiFi, or wireless mesh Wi‑Fi, refers to a network architecture that uses multiple interconnected access points to cover a large area with seamless wireless coverage. In a mesh Wi‑Fi system, each node can communicate with neighboring nodes and can relay traffic to and from client devices and to the internet. While 802.11s provides a standard mesh framework, many consumer systems use proprietary backhauls.
