Melancholikus is a Finnish indie rock band formed in 2007 in Helsinki. The group is known for its introspective lyrics, atmospheric soundscapes, and blend of rock, electronic, and ambient influences. The band’s name derives from the Greek word *melancholia*, which historically referred to a state of deep sadness or depression, reflecting the emotional depth of their music.

The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Jussi Raitala, bassist Jussi Lehtisalo, and drummer Jussi Lehtonen.
