masalalar

Masalalar is a term used in Uzbek to denote problems, issues, or questions. The plural form masalalar refers to multiple such matters, while the singular masala denotes a single problem or topic. The word originates from the Persian and Arabic mas’ala, meaning a matter to discuss or an issue, and has been adopted into Uzbek with the senses of problems, topics, or questions.

In education, masalalar commonly appear as exercises or problems that students are asked to solve. They can be mathematical masalalar requiring calculation or reasoning, language masalalar involving grammar or comprehension, or logical masalalar that explore patterns and proofs. In the humanities, masalalar can refer to discussion topics or case studies used to illustrate concepts and encourage critical thinking.

In everyday language and journalism, masalalar describe matters of public concern, topics for debate, or practical issues faced by people. Phrases such as ma’lumotli masalalar (certain issues) or ijtimoiy masalalar (social issues) are used to frame conversations and analyses.
