Lämpöjohtajia refers to materials that are good conductors of heat. In physics and engineering, these substances allow thermal energy to transfer efficiently through them, typically via vibrations of atoms and molecules or the movement of free electrons. The property that quantifies a material's ability to conduct heat is called thermal conductivity, often denoted by the symbol 'k'. Materials with high thermal conductivity are considered good heat conductors, while those with low thermal conductivity are considered good heat insulators.

Common examples of good thermal conductors include metals like copper, aluminum, and silver. These metals have a large number of free electrons that can easily carry thermal energy.
