Loodav is a fictional region and administrative unit in the highlands of the continent of Veridia. It is characterized by rugged terrain, conifer forests, and a mosaic of small settlements linked by wagon trails and narrow rail lines.

Located in the northern Veridian highlands, its landscape ranges from glacially carved valleys to plateaus, with a cool temperate climate and moderate precipitation. The region includes rivers such as Loodavj and Varon and soil dominated by brown forest types.

The area shows a history of early pastoral settlement; it formed as a principality in the medieval era and joined Veridia’s federative state in the 18th century, gaining autonomy within the federation in the 20th century.

It is an autonomous region governed by a regional council and a governor; the capital city is Loodav. The official language is Loodavian, with Veridian serving as the administrative lingua franca; local dialects are spoken in valleys and villages.

The economy is mixed, with forestry, small-scale agriculture, and tourism as mainstays. Loodav is noted for handwoven textiles and traditional woodwork, with sustainable practices prioritized given the forested landscape.
