Lineaarit is a Finnish term used mainly in mathematics and related fields to refer to linear constructs or relations. It is often encountered as a plural noun formed from the adjective lineaarinen (linear) in informal or compact notation, for example when discussing linear equations, linear functions, or linear maps. In formal Finnish writing the related phrases are more common, such as lineaarinen yhtälö (linear equation), lineaarinen funktio (linear function), or lineaarinen kartta (linear map).

In mathematical practice, the term lineaarit encompasses objects that exhibit linearity. A linear equation in n variables has the form a1 x1 + ... + an xn = b, and its solution set is an affine hyperplane; if b = 0, the solution set is a linear subspace. A linear map f: V → W satisfies f(u+v) = f(u) + f(v) and f(cu) = c f(u).
