The term is the standard Estonian word for an air travel ticket.

A lennupilet contains essential details about the journey. This includes the passenger’s name, the itinerary (origin, destination, dates), flight numbers, carrier, travel class, and the applicable fare. It also includes a ticket or booking number, the issuing airline or agency, and often a barcode or QR code used for check-in. The accompanying fare rules specify baggage allowances, changes, refunds, and penalties associated with the ticket.

Issuance and use: Tickets are issued after payment by the airline, travel agency, or online platform.
