Lendocitosi, also known as Lymphoendotheliosis, is a rare medical condition characterized by abnormal proliferation or accumulation of lymphoid or endothelial cells within tissues. The term derives from Greek roots: "len-do" meaning lymph, "citos" meaning cell, and the suffix "-osis" indicating a pathological process. Though the condition is infrequently documented, it primarily affects lymphatic tissues and can involve various organs depending on its extent.

The etiology of lendocitosi remains poorly understood, but it is often associated with immune dysregulation, infections, or as a reactive process to other pathologies. It has been observed in conjunction with certain viral infections, autoimmune disorders, and neoplastic conditions. Symptoms vary widely based on the affected tissues and the severity of cell proliferation, ranging from asymptomatic cases to localized swelling or organ dysfunction.
