Landningsmarkeringen, or the landing marking, refers to the system of painted indicators on runways and other landing areas that provide pilots with visual cues during approach and touchdown. These markings help determine where to touch down, how to align with the runway, and, in many cases, the distance from the threshold. They are a key part of airport visual guidance and are designed to be visible in varying light and weather conditions.

The main components typically found on runways include threshold markings that designate the beginning of the landing area, aiming point markings (often seen as two prominent white blocks) that indicate the recommended touchdown zone, and touchdown zone markings which appear as pairs of rectangular bars at fixed distances from the threshold to convey distance information. Runways also display a centerline to guide lateral alignment, and a runway designator to identify the runway heading. On heliports or temporary landing areas, different patterns, such as circular or H markers, may be used to indicate a safe landing zone. Color convention is usually white for runway markings, with taxiway markings painted in yellow.
