Käigukang, often translated as gear stick or gear lever, is a control mechanism in a manual transmission automobile that allows the driver to select and engage different gears. It is typically located in the center console of the vehicle, between the driver and passenger seats. The käigukang is connected to the gearbox via a linkage system, which translates the driver's movements into mechanical actions within the transmission.

The operation of a käigukang involves a specific pattern of movement, usually depicted on a diagram on top of the gear knob itself.
