Entanglement is another key concept related to quantum states. When two or more quantum systems become entangled, their fates are linked, regardless of the distance separating them. Measuring the state of one entangled particle instantaneously influences the state of the others, a phenomenon that puzzled even Einstein. Understanding and manipulating quantum states is fundamental to the development of quantum technologies such as quantum computing and quantum cryptography. The complexity of describing and predicting the evolution of quantum states is a central challenge in quantum mechanics.
