In de Broglie-Bohm theory, particles are assumed to have definite positions and follow deterministic trajectories, contrary to the standard Copenhagen interpretation. The kvanttipotentiaali arises from the wave function when it is expressed in polar form, leading to the formulation of a quantum Hamilton-Jacobi equation.
