However, significant challenges remain, including maintaining qubit stability (coherence) and scaling up the number of qubits while minimizing errors.

Current quantum processors are often referred to as Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices. These processors have a limited number of qubits and are prone to errors due to environmental noise and other factors. Despite these limitations, NISQ devices are being used to explore quantum algorithms and applications, paving the way for more advanced quantum computing technologies in the future.
