Kuppelin is a former municipality in the province of central Finland, located in the region of Pirkanmaa. It was a continuation municipality, meaning it consisted of a town (Kangasala) and several surrounding rural municipalities (Kangasala, Tottijärvi and Pohjois-Koski). Kuppelin has its administrative seat in Kangasala. Kuppelin was created on January 1, 2004 when Kangasala, Tottijärvi and Pohjois-Koski municipal unions were merged into the current municipality.
