Ktore (Polish: które) is a term used in the Polish language as an interrogative and relative pronoun meaning “which” or “that.” It appears in questions to identify a specific item from a set, and in relative clauses to introduce information about a noun. In printed and formal writing, it appears with diacritics as które; in plain-text or systems that do not support diacritics, it is often written as ktore.

Etymology and forms: The word derives from the Polish stem of the demonstrative/relative pronouns rozwijających formy around który, która, which change by gender, number, and case. The standard forms include masculine, feminine, and neuter singulars, as well as plural forms, with additional variations for different grammatical roles. The neutral lowercase form ktore is commonly seen in ASCII texts and data where diacritics cannot be used.

Usage: In interrogative use, it asks to identify one or more items: Które z tych jabłek jest twoje? Which of these apples is yours? In relative clauses, it connects a clause to a noun: To jest projekt, który wygrał konkurs. Forms adapt to the gender and number of the noun they modify, so phrases like które z tych rzeczy or które ksiązki są używane illustrate its versatility across contexts.
