Ksylophone, known in Polish as ksylofon, is a percussion instrument consisting of a row of wooden bars that are struck to produce musical pitches. Each bar is tuned to a specific note and is usually paired with a resonator tube or chamber beneath it to amplify the sound. The bars are mounted on a frame in a keyboard-like layout, and the instrument commonly spans roughly two to three octaves, though ranges vary by model.
