Irritant conjunctivitis can be treated by avoiding the irritant and using artificial tears to relieve symptoms.

Prevention of konyunktyvitas involves maintaining good hygiene, avoiding contact with infected individuals, and protecting the eyes from allergens and irritants. Wearing protective eyewear, such as goggles or sunglasses, can help prevent eye infections and irritations. Regular eye examinations can also help detect and treat any underlying eye conditions that may contribute to konyunktyvitas.
