Kontrasztkorrekciókra is a Hungarian term referring to contrast correction. There are various methods for applying contrast correction. Simple contrast adjustments typically involve stretching or compressing the range of pixel intensity values. This can be achieved by applying a linear transformation to the pixel values, effectively increasing or decreasing the overall contrast. More sophisticated techniques include histogram equalization, which aims to distribute pixel intensities more evenly across the entire range, thereby enhancing local contrast.
