Kompozitálás is a term used in various fields, most commonly in materials science and dentistry. In materials science, it refers to the process of combining two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties to create a new material with characteristics superior to those of the individual components. These components are typically a matrix material and a reinforcement material. The matrix surrounds and binds the reinforcement, providing bulk properties, while the reinforcement enhances specific properties like strength, stiffness, or thermal resistance.
