Kompaktina is a term used in speculative materials science to describe a hypothetical ultradense ceramic composite designed to combine very high density with mechanical strength and thermal stability. It is not a defined compound with a fixed chemical formula and is not produced or sold commercially.

In theoretical depictions, kompaktina is envisioned as a polycrystalline phase formed from ceramic carbides or nitrides, densely packed with minimal porosity. Its microstructure is often described as fine grains with strong intergranular bonding achieved through advanced densification techniques.
